Affinity for Business’s Business Continuity Group (BCG) are aware and mindful of the current situation with regards to the Coronavirus strain COVID-19 both within the UK and worldwide.
We are working on plans, both internally and with our Wholesalers, to ensure our services are not affected and business continues as usual. We are working hard to keep all employees in a safe working environment whether in the office or remotely, based on both our existing business continuity plan and advice and direction from government and public health sources.
As a business, we have a responsibility to prioritise staff welfare and keep running the business effectively for our customers.
On Wednesday 5th March 2020, our IT department ran training sessions for all staff (including our customers service teams) to prepare them to work from home effectively. Should the need for all Affinity for Business employees to work remotely arise, we are well prepared and ready to action this, so customers will still be able to contact us and receive the same excellent customer service as always.
We are also working closely with our suppliers to ensure that every part of our business will be running as usual. We will provide further updates on any developments.
