Pay by app: Barclays Pingit
You don’t need to be a Barclays customer to make the most of this free, instant mobile app. Barclays Pingit lets you make quick, secure payments whenever you need to. It’ll even keep you updated with texts confirming all payment details after the transaction, and this will appear on your statements too.
How do I pay? It’s simple:

- Take a moment to register your bank account
- Scan the QR code that appears on the front of your water bill
- Double check all the details and pay – that’s all there is to it!

Make a bank transfer: online or by phone
It’s simple to pay your water bill through internet banking – you can do so either online or by phone – just make sure you use your customer number as a reference when you do*. You will need our account number and sort code, details below:

*This is important as it’s how we know that you’ve paid. Your customer number can be found on your bill and will look something like this: 1234567-8 or 123456-7
At the bank: pay by cheque or cash
If you find it simpler to pay at your local bank, you can! It’s free to do at any branch of your own bank, or any branch of a Barclays bank. When you pay is flexible too – choose to pay annually, bi-annually or monthly. Just use the payment slip attached to your bill.

My Account can be used by businesses that have one location and a single meter or by businesses that have multiple locations and meters. It gives you secure access to view and manage account preferences, view and pay bills, set up a Direct Debit, view meter readings, as well as register for additional services such as waste water.
